		<description>I stopped using the same password a few years back after one of my accounts was hacked.

Since then I have used a very popular piece of software that will generate a random password for me (if I wish). I&#039;ve not heard of any security loopholes in the software so feel safe using it.

There are also websites that allow you to store passwords and use one-click logins but I have never felt comfortable storing my details in such a way and have avoided these offerings.

On your point of the many tell-a-friend scripts that are out there, I wonder how responsible some people in the IM crowd feel now they have heavily promoted these offerings to their large email subscriber lists.
