Are you in the Flash advertising biz?

If so I would like to speak to you!
No this is not an April fools, but it could be I simply want to show you an extract from my up and coming course for free!

Why?
Because I'm a really nice guy, no I am, but alas that is not the reason I really would like to see the code being developed further and used so am looking for potential technology partners but that is for the future. Back to the right now I simply want you to look and tell me if you like it, nothing more.

This is really only interesting for people who develop SWF/Flash advertising campaigns particularly if you handle deployment i.e getting your SWF on your publishers sites. You will be asked to fill in two short questionnaires 1 prior, 1 post to get some basic information about your good self and the second to grab your thoughts.

Please be aware this is not access to the full course or even indeed the code, but rather the theory and some code snippets. I know I'm paranoid but I gave it all away no one would buy the course and that would make me very sad :(

I’m not in your target market but I agree 100% with what you’re trying to do here, Tim. I was really struck by a website for Ethos Water, which is a subsidiary for Starbucks Coffee. I was writing a post on the devastating water crisis that will get even more damaging in the future. Unfortunately that website is invisible on the Web unless you know it exists. Such a pity.

Starbucks is famous for it’s Flash based sites, there are ways round it indeed I have been working with several companies to really try and push what we can and can’t do with Flash its that knowledge that will be in the course. While working on the notes I re-looked at a side section and realised it’s potential given the growth in Flash based ads. So thought I would see if anyone else thought it was worth investing time in. I’m pleased that a couple of people have got in touch and now I feel confident that working on it will lead somewhere.
