Today I've launched a new feature a new feature on the site to help you wade through the arcane and magical arts of search engine optimisation. Using spells and other magic I provide you a means to have your deepest darkest and some times ugly secret answered. I present to you;
The Questions and Answer section - A whole new area dedicated to your questions, simply submit a question and await an answer if you attach an email address you will be told if your question has been answered. I will try to answer most questions but occasionally I may reject them as being just to specific but in such case I have also offered the chance to ask private questions for a small fee. Of course I may reject for a whole host of other reasons as well.
Competition
To celebrate the launch of my demystifying Q&A section I'm giving away 3 crystal balls each engraved with the site logo and the winners name. Each ball is 50mm by 45mm and look rather cool even if they won't help you see into Googles mind they will make a great addition to your desk.

One prize will be awarded for each of the 3 categories
- Most interesting question
- Most useful question
- Most fun question
Rules
To win your question must be approved and answered and you must leave your email address so I can get in touch. You can only win one prize even if your the only entrant! I have the first and final say, winners will be notified by Email. The prizes will be sent from the UK so please make sure that you are in a country that can receive mail from the UK and while I will pay for packaging and shipping you may be liable for local taxes. Finally only Latin based alphabet can be engraved with no special characters.
Closing date - 27/12/2007
How does it work
The Q&A section is powered by the Wordpress plugin FAQ-tastic which is exactly that a wonderful script well worth your time to play around with. A couple of slight modifications were needed to make it look good in the new theme and to add some spam protection. Each question is checked and if I can answer it I will do so and approve it others I will reject and can send a message why I have done so. I hope you enjoy this new addition to the site.

Good luck with that! I’ll have to come up with some questions! i was hoping you were using the plugin I wrote called “Ask me” (http://www.ilovecode.com/qanda/). I will still keep reading your site though
I will check out your plugin
but I have to say FAQ-tastic does everything I need and so far has been rock solid my only negative point is the use of javascript on the admin side does not degrade but hey a minor niggle.
Good luck with your questions currently 35 are in the queue waiting
Hi Tim,
Thanks for supporting FAQ-Tastic - sorry about the minor niggle with the javascript not degrading properly. Could you email me with what specifically the problem is and I can take that into account for future builds of the plugin!
I’m going to let you into a secret - we’re currently working on a newer version of the FAQ-Tastic plugin which is *much* better than the one you’re currently using. Unfortunately, it’s getting close to Christmas so not much being done right now apart from shopping and getting ready for opening presents
. Hopefully, we’re going to have something good to begin the new year with!
Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year!
Cheers,
Zain
