Comment Prompt/Reminder plugin for Wordpress 2+
Description
This is a very simple plugin for wordpress 2.0+
The idea is to encourage lurkers and long term visitors to take the plunge and comment on your blog. Often people just need a little encouragement so this plugin will nag I mean encourage the user by posting a message to encourage them to post. Once they have posted their first comment it stops.
Features
It's really simple so their is not much to configure
- When to nag - Set how many visits before you show your nag message
- Top or Bottom - Set if the message will appear at the top or bottom of the post
- Message - The message you want show, you can use HTML and customise it however you like
The plugin was based around the 'What would Seth Godin do' Plugin by richard kmiller, the irony being this does almost the exact opposite of what the original plugin does.
